I was asked by a family friend to design a unique logo of its own for the Operations Bureau. He requested that the logo for the branch to follow the circular set up of the regular NJOHSP logo. Using the same colors as well, along with imagery of the state spider- the black widow- I set out to create a logo for the OPS.
I wanted to stay true to the NJOHSP logo while adding a modern flair, creating something that the officers would want to wear on a hat or a piece of clothing. Something that made them feel proud of their profession and for serving the state of New Jersey.
I provided NJOHSP OPS examples of what the logo looks like on 3D mockups to give them a real life feel.
